The Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting at Montgomery County Hospital District’s new EMS Station No. 40 in Magnolia. An emotional dedication ceremony was held honoring Jana E. Bishop, a nurse and paramedic that was committed to the care and needs of others before her death in a helicopter crash while on duty. MPCC was proud to participate with a ribbon cutting at the first Montgomery County Hospital District EMS Station dedicated in Magnolia.
Jana’s mother Carol Rangnow cut the ribbon at the event which was largely attended by family, friends, colleagues, community leaders and dignitaries State Representative Cecil Bell, Jr., County Judge Craig Doyal and County Commissioner Charlie Riley. Joining Kelly Hamann, MPCC President were Board Members Dr. Mark Escott, Deborah Rose Miller and Bill Gervasi, as well as, several Chamber members including Dr. Mark Feanny of America’s ER and John Chadwick of Triple J Firearms. MPCC would like to thank all First Responders for their service and dedication to our great County!
