President
Laurie Clifton accepted the position as Chamber President on February 1, 2024. Laurie brings to the Chamber a wealth of volunteer experience with Montgomery County organizations, including the Emergency Services District (ESD) #10, the Emergency Chaplain Network, the Montgomery County Executive Committee, the 2015 Montgomery County Road Bond PAC, and the Magnolia Educations Foundation where she was chair of the Account Development Committee. Laurie has many years of corporate business experience, spending two years with the Halliburton Company where she was Manager of the company's Global Corporate Card Program, and fifteen years with American Airlines including four years in Houston as a National Account Executive. Laurie clearly understands the Chamber's strategic initiative of achieving membership growth equal to or exceeding Southwest Montgomery County's rapid commercial and business development while maintaining cohesive networking and promotional opportunities for the Chamber's membership. Laurie and her husband, Bruce, reside in High Meadow Ranch in the Magnolia area where they raised their family.
