Strategic Plan

Strategic planning is the ongoing organizational process of using available knowledge to document a business's intended direction. This process is used to prioritize efforts, effectively allocate resources, align shareholders and employees on the organization’s goals, and ensure those goals are backed by data and sound reasoning.

In early May, 2021, the incumbent 2021 members, and the prospective 2022 members of the Executive Committee of the Greater Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce elected to develop a long term “Strategic Plan” for the Chamber.  The objective of the plan development is to reinforce the Chamber’s long-term vision and establish “Strategic Objectives” and a “Plan of Execution” for the Chamber that would transcend organizational, geopolitical, economic, community development and other environmental influences in which the Chamber will be required to successfully operate in future years.  It has been clearly recognized by the Chamber’s Board of Directors that the rapid growth and development of the greater Southwest Montgomery County area presents both challenges and opportunities for the successful operation of the Chamber over the next decade.
